One of my music choices to go with the animation. Goes well with the “sad” section of the animation. You can listen to the song here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzMMiF37Vro
Tuesday and wednesday the week commencing the 20th
•October 21, 2009 • Leave a Commenton the 20th we developed are website by adding audio and video files to it, to make the website more interactive and we can use this as evidence of our work for the joshua tree. we also did a short introduction to our selves on the website so people who go to it can see who we are and hopefully get a better understanding of our aim. We also Re – did some story boards as we got put into the two different groups, we also went over the script to change some of lines as we discussed with linda on our last visit so that feedback proved to be useful.
Reflection Of Linda Hill and Joe Pilchard Interview
•September 23, 2009 • Leave a CommentOn the 23rd of September me and my class traveled down to Northwich to interview the people who work for Joshua Tree charity. Here are some of the bad and good points and y opinions on them.
- the boom that was connected to the camera as we were filming was facing the two interviewees this affected the sound levels of the class asking the questions, because the sound levels were not as clear as we would like. We need something to pick up the sound of the people all around or we needed to change our own positions so the sound would be clearer.
- the head rotation of the interviewees was also not very good because we were all asking questions from all around the room the interviewees faces were turning to much and this did not look professional, we needed them to look at slightly away from the camera but face the same way the whole time.
- The shot was also slightly to far away as we have a slightly to large wide shot, we have some things in the shot that we did not need and this also did not look that good, a more personal and closer up shot would have been better suited one.
- some editing will need to be done also because their are some small gaps (pauses) that are not really necessary, also at one stage the camera moved from side to side which looks very odd and not very professional for a formal interview. This means we need to go back and re shoot some things in hope that we can get some more steady shots.
Jobs
•September 16, 2009 • Leave a CommentAnimation runner -
Animation runners help out the main directors of the animation, they help collect materials and do some general office work. In this project we may have some animation and these are some of things i could help out on.
Film Director
The film director is the overlooker of the whole production of the film, they make the key decisions and most key questions will be run through him before they are agreed on. this member is key to the production team and should keep everyone motivated. We need this in our production to keep us on track and keep the purpose of the advertisement alive.
photographer -
freelancer Photographers take photos of whatever they are usually employed for.
In our work we need to keep a track of photos to show the processes we have completed
Update – 16th September
•September 16, 2009 • Leave a CommentWe have decided today after speaking to linda, that we are going down into town to meet her and tom and interview them on some questions we have made for them, When we are there we are going to take some photos and maybe video record some shots of the charities in town. We are then going to be going around the other local charities and get some podcasts of us speaking to the charities to help us get ideas for our research. This will also be a chance to see ask them how they promote and advertise their charities. I also need to conduct some more research on the local charities, i am doing this by using the internet, Going into town, and ringing them up for possible information.
Update – Year 2
•September 15, 2009 • Leave a CommentToday we started reviewing what we have done on the Interaction project. We Went over some brainstorms we originally did, and added to some ideas we already had. We also decided that we would need to interview linda and Tom the two people who run the Joshua tree charity to identify what they want from us in this advertisement. We have then since created some question we would like to ask them which will help us get a better perspective of what they want. We are planning to film them as they speak and as we ask them the question as we can then look back on it to review what they have said.
Donna’s Dream house
Donnas dream house is a similar house where people can stay who are ill, much like what the joshua tree is hoping to achieve. I have looked on to the website and listed good and bad points and noted down important things that could help us make this project a success. Including a list of features they have on their own website, which i think us too should include on our own.
